Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular specialist in the area. This position involves providing advanced patient care for individuals with cardiovascular conditions, emphasizing safety, quality outcomes, and patient experience. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program. A minimum of 2 years of post-open heart and cardiac care unit experience, 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem). EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardio surgical intensive care and cardiovascular nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The clinical nurse provides safe, competent, and quality patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include patient assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Emphasis on patient safety, role modeling relationship-centered care, and active participation in professional development.
