Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract role runs from late August through early June, with the strong possibility of renewal for following years. You’ll be assigned to one campus and can express your preference for working with early childhood (ECSE) or K-12 students, as there are openings for both. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license(s):
  • Special Education: General Curriculum (PreK–12)
  • Special Education: Adapted Curriculum (PreK–12)
  • Early Childhood Special Education (Birth–Age 5)
• Experience or strong interest in either early childhood or K–12 special education environments
• Ability to foster inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom communities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to serving diverse learners and collaborating with a range of colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction for students with a range of abilities in either early childhood or K-12 settings
• Develop and implement IEPs to meet individualized student goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district requirements
• Engage in ongoing professional development and required district training
