Civil Engineer – Aviation Engineering

An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager with aviation design experience to lead airport infrastructure projects from planning through construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Lead airside and landside airport design efforts.
• Coordinate project teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
• Prepare and review design documents, technical reports, and construction packages.
• Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with airport authorities, agencies, and clients.
• Assist with proposals, business development, and client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of airport design experience (airside and landside).
• Strong knowledge of FAA design standards and criteria.
• Experience managing engineering projects and client relationships.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D; aviation planning software experience preferred.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure in multiple states is advantageous.
