Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Night / Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections on assigned equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Schedule (ISO Form 11-01-01-B).
• Perform preventative maintenance work on machinery to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and unsafe conditions.
• Promptly respond to and complete job requisitions according to request forms.
• Work with electrical systems ranging from 5V DC to 480V AC and interpret PLC ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot, assemble, and align gears, bearings, shafts, and piping systems.
• Utilize CMMS software to log work orders and order required spare parts cost-effectively.
• Clean shop and parts area at the end of every shift and maintain daily housekeeping standards.
• Strictly follow Lock-out / Tag-out (LOTO) procedures at all times.
• Operate a forklift as required.
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, industrial equipment, and machinery.
• Ability to understand PLC ladder logic and work with voltages from 5V DC up to 480V AC.
• Experience using Preventive Maintenance programs (CMMS) and basic computer skills.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, bend, stand, and climb step ladders as needed.
