maintenance technician

Job Title

Part-time position would be roughly 20 hours each week. Electrical background preferred but not required for this role. Daily position requirements (required skills):

• Ability to perform work on both extension and step ladders as needed
• Ability to use mobile lift equipment (scissor lifts)
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills lighting, lighting controllers, fuses, motors, outlets, switches, etc.
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting thermostat replacements
• HVAC maintenance, cleaning, filters and basic inspections
• Troubleshooting overhead doors and door openers, not including tensioning springs
• Preventative maintenance on overhead doors
• Preventative maintenance on motorized vehicle gates, man gates and doors
• Interior and exterior painting
• Furniture setups, breakdowns moving and placing in storage
• Install bathroom soap dispensers, paper towel holders, toilet paper holders, hand dryers, etc.
• Hang pictures, shelves and office equipment
• General plumbing repairs leaking faucets, flushometers, supply lines, clogged sinks and toilets, small water heater replacements
• Minor landscaping, weed control, trimming, mulching, raking, etc.
• General cleanup, power washing, window cleaning
• Inspection of perimeter security fencing including minor repairs if needed
• Preventive building maintenance (pm), and inspection, aed's, emergency eyewash stations, basic (monthly) sprinkler system inspections, exhaust fans, floor drains, roof inspections and roof drains

Work to be performed in Allentown/Bethlehem/Telford/South Whitehall during regular day-time hours with the possibility of 10 hours overtime per month. Non-NERC access
