Mechanical Inspector

Our client is looking to bring on a Mechanical Inspector. This is a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with a 4 day work week and overtime. Responsibilities Perform detailed dimensional inspections on manufactured components utilizing precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate measurement setups. Conduct quality inspections in accordance with ASME codes & standards and ISO 13485 requirements for medical device manufacturing. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection processes. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and ensure traceability in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Support calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to uphold calibration standards. Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues related to dimensional discrepancies or tooling defects. Skills Experience in Mechanical Inspectors, Quality Inspections and Quality audits. Proficiency in CMM programming using PC-DMIS or Calypso software. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, quality inspection techniques, and quality assurance practices. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 standards, and ASME codes & standards. Experience with blueprint reading, GD&T, and schematic interpretation #J-18808-Ljbffr
