Logistics Coordinator

Shift Details:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

As a Logistics Coordinator , you will provide critical logistics support by managing order entry, coordinating transportation, dispatching shipments, and ensuring effective communication between customers, drivers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer profile information and enter shipment details from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.

• Communicate load issues to account managers, including actions taken to resolve problems.

• Provide shipment status updates to customers and receivers.

• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure shipments arrive on time and in good condition.

• Conduct driver check calls and verify load information before marking shipments as delivered for accounting purposes.

• Investigate shipment overages, shortages, or damages and complete all required documentation.

• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as needed.

• Accept or decline loads based on guidance from account managers.

• Provide drivers with detailed routing instructions and delivery information.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience.

• General knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience preparing routine reports and professional correspondence.

• Strong ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
