Gressley & Donaldson, LLP is seeking a motivated junior associate attorney to join our office. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or recently admitted attorney who wants to develop practical legal skills, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and build a career as a practicing attorney. No prior attorney experience is required. We are looking for someone who is intelligent, dependable, eager to learn, and willing to take responsibility for cases while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced attorneys. Position Responsibilities • Appear in court on behalf of clients • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents • Review police reports, discovery, and other evidence • Communicate with clients, prosecutors, courts, and other attorneys • Prepare cases for hearings and trial • Participate in case strategy and settlement negotiations • Assist senior attorneys with complex matters • Develop the skills necessary to independently manage a caseload Qualifications • Active member of the California State Bar, or awaiting California Bar results with anticipated admission • Strong research, writing, and communication skills • Professional, reliable, and organized • Comfortable working directly with clients • Willingness to appear in court and develop litigation and trial skills • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters • Strong desire to learn and improve as an attorney Compensation & Benefits • Negotiable salary based upon qualifications and circumstances • Guaranteed bonuses • Additional bonuses based upon cases brought into the firm • Health insurance available • Retirement plan options • Paid time off • Opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and advancement ABOUT THE FIRM Gressley & Donaldson, LLP is based in Riverside County, California.
