Heavy Equipment Mechanic

As an industry leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, EnviroVantage, Inc is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule by ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment with precision and expertise. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine repair solutions quickly and accurately Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment complies with company and regulatory standards Maintain detailed service and repair records Respond to field service calls as needed to minimize equipment downtime Communicate repair needs and timelines with Director of Facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics & electric systems. Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Driver’s License and clean 5-year driving record

Compensation Compensation Range: $37.00 - $41.00/hour Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location. Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire.
