Employee Success Business Partner Sr. Director

Overview of the Role Join our world‑class Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) team during a pivotal era where CRM, AI, Data, and Trust converge. As a Strategic ESBP Senior Director you will partner directly with senior HR and People leaders who shape Salesforce’s workforce, operating as a trusted advisor to VP+ level executives across the Employee Success organization. Responsibilities Strategic HR-for-HR Partnership: Serve as a proactive consultant to senior leaders to shape organizational strategy, business transformation, and AI/Agent integration. Align talent initiatives with fiscal year goals and lead executive-level hiring strategies. Leadership Advisory & Coaching: Provide high-impact, values-aligned coaching to the ES leadership team, navigating complex change and engagement challenges to retain and empower leaders. Operational Excellence: Lead critical talent cycles including succession planning, merit and compensation reviews, and workforce planning, acting as a "Customer Zero" to test and refine initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Mobilize stakeholders across Legal, Finance, and HR Centers of Excellence to bridge global strategy with local business needs, managing location strategy and executive spans/ratios. Analytics & Impact Measurement: Use data-driven insights to monitor organizational health, linking engagement data to business metrics such as revenue per employee and retention risk. Global Policy Advocacy: Advise the business on international digital shifts, including data sovereignty and talent development, to stay ahead of policy changes. Required Qualifications Strategic Experience: 8+ years as an HR/ES Business Partner or similar strategic talent advisory role, supporting executive-level clients. Business & Tech Acumen: Deep curiosity about business operations, growth trajectories, product lifecycles, and the impact of AI on the workforce. Change Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformations with formal change management models. Data Literacy: Ability to analyze complex datasets and connect people metrics to business outcomes. Relationship Building: Natural ability to build high‑trust, collaborative relationships across diverse teams and networks. Education: Experience is evaluated based on alignment with the role’s values and behaviors (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work). Preferred Qualifications Global Perspective: Experience navigating international data privacy and residency frameworks and their impact on talent mobility. Talent Development Expertise: Knowledge of executive coaching, high‑potential assessment tools, and building diverse leadership pipelines. Innovation Mindset: Experience in high-growth SaaS or AI‑driven environments requiring agility and fearless invention.
