About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President - Head of Consulting to lead its bespoke solutions business in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the business's strategy, commercial performance, and external profile, with a focus on both public and private sector markets. This role requires a leader with a strong commercial and operational background, capable of scaling a professional services practice and driving high-impact engagements for a diverse client base. The Head of Consulting will be the senior external face of the business, representing the company at industry events and shaping market understanding of global energy and chemical dynamics. Candidates for this role should have over 20 years' of experience in the energy, chemical, or commodity consulting space, with a proven track record of leading an advisory business with significant revenue and growth. The role demands a leader with a relentless focus on customer value, output quality, and business efficiency, as well as the ability to design and evolve a compelling value proposition. Experience in both public and private sector advisory work, knowledge of key players in the consulting space, and a history of successful stakeholder management at executive levels are essential. The Head of Consulting will also be expected to partner with various internal teams to ensure the commercial success of the consulting engagements and may require up to 40% travel to support business development and operations.
