Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities

Highlights:

• 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care, including medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity; short-stay patients (24-hour LOS) targeted to unit
• Telemetry monitoring with hardwired bedside monitors; quick turnover environment
• EMR: Cerner; supportive team structure with dedicated charge nurse, RN staff, and CNAs on each shift

• Regional referral center offering Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke care, and Level III NICU services

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license)
• Telemetry competency required
• Progressive care experience required
• Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
