Wound Care Nurse (RN)

Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $36.00–$40.00 per hour

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional wound and skin care services to our residents. Working alongside our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in promoting healing, preventing skin breakdown, and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and skin conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans.

• Perform routine skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care.

• Assist with applicable MDS documentation.

• Educate residents and families on wound care treatments.

• Recommend appropriate wound care products, dressings, and pressure-relieving devices.

• Monitor healing progress and maintain accurate documentation.

• Report concerns related to resident safety, abuse, neglect, or infection per facility policy.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida RN license.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

• Wound care experience preferred.

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
