Mechanical Design Engineer

$50-$52 per hour Greenville, SC Contract Duration: 12+ Months Working Model: 100% on-site Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Job Description The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for providing design liaison engineering (DLE) support to client manufacturing. This will be specifically centered on rotor & unit assembly areas. Responsibilities Review, evaluate, & define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise. The evaluation piece of this work will require analysis through hand calculations, CAD, FEA, &/or other internal tools used to evaluate deviant hardware. Will support DLE initiatives to drive defect reduction through improved engineering defintion & improved manufacturing processes. This scope of work can require support in revising engineering specifications & drawings. Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework &/or acceptance critiera. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in CAD software. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
