Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Greenville, SC
Pay Range: $45-51/hr.
What's the Job?
- Provide design liaison engineering (DLE) support to manufacturing teams, focusing on rotor and unit assembly areas.
- Review, evaluate, and define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise, utilizing hand calculations, CAD, FEA, and other internal tools.
- Support DLE initiatives aimed at reducing defects through improved engineering definitions and manufacturing processes.
- Assist in revising engineering specifications and drawings to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality standards are met.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
