Being the driver in Volkswagen Group initiative for mobility solutions, we’re an integral part of Volkswagen Group's future success.Brief Role DescriptionA rollout management role responsible for planning and executing the deployment of upload stations and connectivity across multiple cities and hubs. The role coordinates local operations, IT hardware partners, MNOs, connectivity teams, and engineering stakeholders to ensure site readiness, installation, commissioning, and smooth vehicle ramp‑up.The position focuses on end‑to‑end rollout execution, managing dependencies between the end customer, product teams and local suppliers, ensuring reliable operations from test deployments through production rollout.This role combines hands‑on rollout coordination, technical alignment, and stakeholder management to deliver consistent and scalable deployments across locations.Role ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & Multi‑City Deployment Execution – 30%Plan and execute upload station and fleet rollouts across multiple cities and hubsDefine rollout timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deployment sequencesEnsure readiness across upload station hardware, connectivity interfaces, vehicle systems, and operationsUpload Station Rollout & Operational Readiness – 20%Coordinate installation, commissioning, and handover of upload station IT hardwareEnsure site readiness including power, space, network access, and physical securityAlign upload station availability with vehicle ramp‑up and operational usageConnectivity & MNO Coordination – 20%Coordinate connectivity readiness with MNOs and internal connectivity teams for each rollout siteEnsure SIM/eSIM provisioning, network availability, and basic performance readiness are in place for rolloutSupport SLA/KPI monitoring during rollout and early operations (availability, throughput, incident handling)Cross‑Functional Coordination & Delivery Management – 20%Drive alignment between local operations, vehicle teams, backend/platform teams, upload station vendors, and connectivity stakeholdersCoordinate suppliers and third‑party partners during rollout executionProvide regular rollout status updates, risk tracking, and escalationsIncident Management, Risk & Continuous Improvement – 10%Coordinate issue resolution across upload station hardware, connectivity, and operations during rollout phasesSupport root‑cause analysis for rollout and early‑life incidentsIncorporate lessons learned into rollout playbooks, standards, and processesQualification requirementsYears of Relevant Experience:7–10+ years in connectivity, telecom, automotive, or embedded systems#LI-CK1Education:RequiredDesiredB.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experienceMasters in Information Technology, Computer Science (or related education)General Skills:Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teamsStrong system-level thinking (multi-domain integration)Strategic thinking with execution focusAbility to manage ambiguity and drive alignmentAbility to work in cross-functional agile teamsStakeholder and supplier coordination skillsAnalytical debugging and problem-solving mindsetWork Flexibility and travel:30 - $190,000 annually. This represents the anticipated base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
