Job Title Fall 2026 NURS 321L Community Health Clinical (3 units, Multiple Sections), Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty, Nursing Program Location Moraga, CA Open Date 2026-03-30 Deadline — Description Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty, Nursing Program, NURS 321L Community Health Clinical. The candidate will be assigned instructional work in the nursing program and must be approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas. The faculty member will provide leadership and coordination to ensure activities are designed to foster student success with supportive teaching methods. Faculty will ensure evidence-based practice and professional roles are incorporated in meeting patient care needs and student learning outcomes. Faculty, in collaboration with leaders and other faculty, develops and ensures the quality of the course that supports the evaluation of student competencies. This position is teaching across two clinical sections. Responsibilities Ensure all related program policies are followed and adhere to accreditation standards and the California Nurse Practice Act Standards. Maintain curricular and program requirements in accordance with national accreditation standards and institutional policies. Provide leadership and management of instructional work and content assigned. Support student success with evidence-based and student-centered teaching methods. Develop, manage, and evaluate curriculum, or programs. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing or BSN with a minimum of three (3) years experience. Approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas. Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Three years of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the last five years. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators. Experience in using computers and other technologies for teaching and learning. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree. Demonstrated record of teaching successfully at the undergraduate level with specific experience in an area of specialty. Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and evaluating curriculum, or programs. Salary Range $46.55 - $64.43 per hour (covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021).
