Position Summary The Sales Development Specialist at Clearway Health plays a critical role in driving top‑of‑funnel activity and accelerating overall business growth. This individual is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing new leads to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline that supports the organization’s expansion goals. Working closely with the Client Development team, the Sales Development Specialist is a self‑motivated, hunter‑driven sales star with proven success in driving pipeline velocity to win new business and grow Clearway Health’s client organization. In this role, you will bring your expertise in outbound prospecting, relationship‑building and strategic communication to engage healthcare organizations and key decision‑makers. You’ll leverage your curiosity, resilience and consultative mindset to understand client needs, articulate Clearway Health’s value and create meaningful connections that move prospects through the early stages of the sales journey. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, using data and insights to refine your approach, exceed performance goals and make a measurable impact on transforming specialty pharmacy. Essential Responsibilities/Duties Proactively research and identify new sales opportunities within assigned territory, targeting decision‑makers, including hospital and health system C‑Suite, Executive and Senior Leaders Initiate high‑volume outbound calls and personalized emails to prospective clients to introduce company services and schedule discovery call(s) Utilize customer relationship management program (Salesforce) to track all activities, update lead information, schedule relevant prospecting calls or meetings and assign follow‑up tasks to Client Development Executives Cultivate trusted relationships with key decision‑makers, providing ongoing support and ensuring pipeline retention through the sales process Work with Client Development Executives to support territory strategies, prepare client‑facing presentations and coordinate internal follow‑up required to advance the sale Generate and maintain an active, qualified pipeline, exceeding at least 3-5 times the individual annual sales quota Establish strong relationships and secure contacts with potential clients to drive your sales goals Consult with prospects to gather insights into their business challenges and identify opportunities for Clearway Health to deliver tailored services and solutions Lead compelling introductory sales presentations to senior leaders within health systems, striving to grow business partnerships and advance our sales initiatives Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, allowing you to effectively position our products against competitors Maintain our customer relationship management program (Salesforce) to accurately track sales activities and capture client or opportunity details Education A bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university Experience 2 years of inside sales‑related experience required, preferably calling into the hospital or health‑system setting Ability to navigate the hospital and health system landscape and establish call and appointment‑setting at the executive level Knowledge and Skills Strong consultative selling and objection‑handling skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with high‑level stakeholders (hospital and health system C‑Suite, Executive and Senior Leaders) Proficiency in our customer relationship management program (Salesforce) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Stellar ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external teams Experience in hospital and health system sales, with preferred expertise in specialty pharmacy, health system strategy, and pharmacy reimbursement, including proficiency in the 340B program The ability to adeptly balance strategic and tactical planning while managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment Confidence, high energy, and self‑motivation, demonstrating leadership skills and an innate ability to work harmoniously in a team A track record of successful performance in an unstructured environment Special Working Conditions (On‑call, Travel, Shift, Coverage) Travel will average 5-10% of the time, with opportunity for internal, in‑person meetings or potential client or conference travel Pay Transparency and Equal Employment Opportunities This information is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Clearway Health. The current annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 with the ability to receive performance‑based commissions. The actual rate within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
