and the job listing Expires on August 28, 2026 Tax Office Front Desk Administrator (Part Time / Internship) Position Summary MDA Taxes is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Administrator to serve as the first point of contact to our clients. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming office environment while providing administrative support to our tax professionals. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast paced office. Primary Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails & chats. Schedule appointments and maintain the firm's calendar. Check clients in and out for appointments. Collect, organize, scan, and securely upload client tax documents. Maintain accurate client records within the firm's software. Process payments & provide receipts. Prepare engagement letters and other client paperwork. Assist with documents requests and tax return pickup. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office supplies Ensure confidential client information is handled in accordance with company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years experience in customer service & administrative duties. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy tax season. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Preferred Skills Experience with tax or accounting office software (such as Tax Dome, Drake, or QuickBooks). Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
