Back of House Supervisor Position: BOH Supervisor Location: San Diego, CA Job Id: 159 # of Openings: 1 Hourly | Full-Time | Pay Rate: $24.00/hr We’re seeking a hands‑on, driven Back of House Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency. This role is ideal for culinary professionals who lead by example, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and are passionate about developing team members while maintaining high standards. What It Takes to Succeed Oversee daily food preparation, line execution, and kitchen operations Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards Support and train cooks and dishwashers on procedures and station setup Maintain organized, stocked, and clean BOH environments Communicate effectively with Chef team and FOH partners during service Monitor prep, pars, inventory, and minimize waste Lead by example with urgency, professionalism, and accountability Education & Experience 2–3 years of BOH experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen Previous leadership or training experience preferred Strong knowledge of food safety (DOH standards) and kitchen operations Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and execute under pressure Why Join Our Team RMD Group is known for creating elevated hospitality experiences across San Diego.
