Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Charge RN experience required Epic experience required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry. The unit provides care for pre and post patients in various specialties. Candidates should understand the care needs of patients after procedures such as cath lab, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology. Experience with arterial and venous access management is crucial. Candidates must also be prepared to monitor for hemostasis in these patients. The role requires the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage telemetry monitoring. A Pass/Fail EKG exam is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates are expected to have flexibility in scheduling, with a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Compliance with pre-start requirements is required before the start date. Travelers may be subject to float to different campuses if needed.
