A high-volume automotive dealership in Los Angeles is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a motivated results-driven Automotive Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) to join its sales team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with managing daily showroom and sales floor operations
  

• Work directly with customers and sales consultants to close vehicle deals
  

• Close customer deals in the showroom
  

• Assist with appraisals trade evaluations and payment presentations
  

• Help sales consultants overcome objections and move deals forward
  

• Follow up on unsold showroom traffic internet leads and active customer opportunities
  

• Help convert leads appointments and walk-in traffic into vehicle sales
  

• Monitor sales activity closing ratios and individual performance
  

• Coach and motivate sales consultants to achieve dealership goals
  

• Maintain strong customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
  

• Coordinate with the finance department and other dealership teams to facilitate smooth deliveries
  

• Encourage repeat business customer retention and referrals
  

• Follow dealership sales processes policies and standards
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous automotive dealership sales experience
  

• Strong deal-closing and negotiation skills
  

• Understanding of automotive sales processes trade-ins and appraisals
  

• Ability to work with customers and sales consultants in a fast-paced environment
  

• Strong communication leadership and follow-up skills
  

• Results-driven mindset with a focus on sales volume profitability and customer satisfaction
  

• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in one or more of the following positions is strongly preferred:
