Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testsranging from chemistry and hematology to immunologyfollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Hold or attain the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Continue to maintain certification for the duration of employment.
