Alta Mira Recovery Center is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Specialist at our beautiful facility in Sausalito, CA. The Maintenance Specialist is primarily responsible for the maintenance, repairs of the building and grounds and maintenance management.

Compensation range for the Maintenance Specialist role is $27-30/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid California driver's license.
• Experience in Maintenance field (plumbing and electrical preferred).
• Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Candidates must pass a 10 panel drug screen which includes Marijuana.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Paints and performs structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings, to maintain an attractive and safe building, inside and out, including ladder work.
• Performs general cleaning and up keep of buildings, including buffing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and washing windows.
• Inspects, repairs and services wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment or oversees the work of contractors.
• Inspects, repairs and services plumbing systems and installations for conformance to governmental codes, sanitation standards, and construction specifications or oversees the work of contractors.
• Performs preparatory work for maintenance activities, including gathering equipment, materials and supplies, loading and unloading materials, and laying out materials and equipment for projects
• Performs clean up at the end of the day or when the job is completed, including picking up tools, spills, debris, cleaning work areas and performing touch-up as needed.
• Ability to operate a vehicle for pickup and delivery duties.
• Additional tasks as needed and directed.

The range provided is for California based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CA may differ based on the cost of living in that geographic location.
