Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,674 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2674.08 Opportunity: RN - LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Job Details: • Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week assignment • Patient ratio of 1:3, variable by census and acuity • 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule • 2 weekends required, variable depending on staffing • Must have OR circulator experience • Must have Labor and Delivery experience • Preferred: ability to perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE • Preferred: experience as stork nurse and transitioning baby at delivery • Perform procedures including induction, C-section, vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions, and bilateral tubal ligation • Perform triage, NST, OB injections, outpatient infusions, and IUFD care • Work with GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vacuum, and Koala IUPC equipment • Use Epic and CPN Connect EMR systems • Float to Mom-Baby unit if needed • Hospital-provided royal blue scrubs (change in facility) • Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP, ACLS, BLS • Permanent Alaska nursing license required for submission Facility: This facility features a Labor and Delivery unit located on the third floor with 7 beds and a team of night nurses providing dedicated maternal care. The unit operates with a Level II NICU and onsite pediatric hospitalists, ensuring comprehensive support for newborns and mothers. The facility follows established protocols including Pitocin Protocol, HTN and postpartum hemorrhage protocols, and malignant hyperthermia protocols, maintaining high standards for maternal and neonatal care.
