Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Campus Recruitment

Summary The Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Campus Recruitment works under the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to support the firm’s efforts to recruit and onboard summer and entry‑level associates. The Coordinator schedules interviews, maintains candidate records in the applicant tracking system, and ensures a seamless hiring process while identifying top legal talent and ensuring compliance with all hiring policies. Location This position can be based in any of our Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, or San Diego office locations and offers a hybrid work schedule for employees within commutable distance. Responsibilities Serve as an essential member of the national campus recruiting team, supporting the growth of the firm’s summer program. Assist and coordinate all activities related to the full life cycle of a candidate, including creating job requisitions and postings, maintaining candidate files in the applicant tracking system, coordinating interview schedules, compiling candidate feedback, and preparing standard offer letters. Maintain and provide information and reports regarding recruitment. Coordinate and support all aspects of the national summer program. Develop and maintain relationships with target law schools. Plan and execute on‑campus events. Support the recruiting brand by creating an exceptional candidate experience. Availability for overtime and flexibility for travel are expected. Other duties as assigned. Desired Skills Hands‑on experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel (including pivot tables and advanced analytics preferred), Vidcruiter, and Workday. Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable learning and working in new recruiting/HR software platforms and communicating with firm stakeholders and executive management. Excellent written communication skills. Strong multitasking, organizational, and time‑management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail. A team player with a self‑starter attitude. Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED. Minimum Years of Experience 3 years of campus recruiting or a similar environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Prior experience working at a large law firm’s recruiting department. Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product. Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands in a fast‑paced environment. Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned. Physical Demands Sedentary work, occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Work primarily involves sitting with occasional walking and standing. The position requires a sedentary work environment with little physical exertion beyond occasional lifting.
