Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Dermatology

Role Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist with patient care in a dermatology setting. The LPN will support RNs by performing assigned tasks such as vital sign checks, medical history documentation, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and electrocardiograms, ensuring safe and compassionate care in accordance with NYS scope of practice and policies. Responsibilities Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support department goals. Maintain current LPN knowledge and competencies. Collect and document patient health data systematically. Administer medications, injections, and assist with procedures. Support patient flow, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and ensure proper documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and promote a respectful, patient-centered environment. Ensure clinical compliance and participate in annual training on safety and privacy protocols. Uphold the organization’s service standards and foster a positive patient experience through professional interactions. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an LPN program with current NYS licensure. Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and work well within a team. Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and sensory acuity. BLS certification preferred.
