A distinguished local glass business in Glenwood Springs, CO is searching for a new General Manager to join their team! The company specializes in high-end custom residential glasswork and they are looking for someone with a passion for quality who values expert craftsmanship to lead projects and operations with their shared vision. Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate daily operations, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards
- Function as the lead Project Manager for all assignments, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
- Direct and supervise a skilled workforce, including office personnel and installation crews, to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and contractors, managing expectations and communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Order materials, plan project logistics, and conduct site measurements, contributing to the hands-on aspects of project implementation when necessary
- Manage contract negotiations, review project specifications, and ensure adherence to defined parameters
- Maintain a keen eye for detail in every aspect of the operation, from customer service to the finishing touches on installations
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the residential glass industry with extensive knowledge of glass products and installation techniques
- A solid background in the construction industry, particularly within the high-end residential sector
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools; experience with Marc toolbox or related systems is preferred
- Experience in a managerial role within the glass or construction industry is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage projects, and interact with clients and contractors
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A hands-on approach to management and a willingness to engage directly with project tasks when needed
