Sr Business Applications Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Facets Configuration Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for application areas, including system configuration, data structure, and business logic. This role is responsible for analyzing business needs, designing solutions, configuring packaged software, and supporting implementation efforts across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the subject matter expert for application areas including data definitions, usage, file structures, and business rules • Lead development of package software modification requirements and interface design specifications • Configure tables in packaged software to support specific business areas • Establish and maintain packaged software file configuration, including complex configuration tasks • Act as liaison between business areas and development teams during design and implementation • Independently analyze business problems and develop, implement, and communicate solutions • Facilitate completion of projects within allocated time and budget • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members • Deliver configuration expertise and consultative support to customers and business partners • Analyze current usage of packaged software and identify opportunities for process improvements • Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including: • Designing solutions aligned to business needs • Code development and maintenance • Unit testing with sample data validation • System/technical documentation of functional requirements Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of Facets configuration experience • Minimum 3 years of Facets Benefit Configuration experience • Experience in front-end and back-end application support and medical plan setup • Strong understanding of system applications and their interdependencies • Minimum 3 years of experience querying Facets data using SQL or similar backend tools • Deep understanding of data models and table dependencies • Experience with system upgrades, releases, and change packages • Strong technical and analytical skills • Familiarity with business operational practices • Experience across full project lifecycle, including deliverable dependencies • Skilled in root cause analysis and process improvement • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills • Strong organizational and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with claims, billing, group setup, provider demographics, pricing, or capitation • Experience supporting system implementations or upgrades as a subject matter expert • Background in both functional and technical roles in healthcare systems Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience required • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in a related field accepted #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
