Mechanical AssemblerPGS Worldwide is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Clearwater, Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will perform hands-on mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, engineering drawings, and detailed work instructions.Required Skills1+ year of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of CCA and mechanical assembly processes and production flow.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, specifications, and detailed work instructions.Proficiency using hand tools.Strong manual dexterity.Basic computer proficiency.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work accurately in a production environment.Preferred SkillsPrevious aerospace, defense, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or assembly problems.Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment.Experience with SAP, Solumina, or similar manufacturing systems.Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.What You'll DoPerform mechanical assembly using hand tools and established manufacturing processes.Assemble components in accordance with drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions.Support CCA and mechanical assembly production activities.Follow established production flow and quality requirements.Identify assembly issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.Use computerized manufacturing systems to support production activities.Learn and apply new tools, equipment, processes, and technical requirements as needed.Collaborate with production and manufacturing team members to meet schedule and quality objectives.Work Schedule / ShiftMonday–Thursday5:00 AM–3:30 PMWeekend overtime may be available.Pay$20.00–$25.00 per hour.Job ID: 23105Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
