About The Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston within the Housekeeping Department, the Turndown Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all guestrooms that they are assigned to clean. The Turndown Attendant reports to the Executive Housekeeper. Responsibilities Place the finishing touches on our hotel rooms for a comfortable and restful evening. Turn down beds, draw curtains, and refresh towels, ensuring everything meets our high housekeeping standards of cleanliness and presentation. Vacuum carpet and dust furniture, surfaces, vents, and baseboards. Provide warm, professional service to guests, whether addressing their questions or handling special housekeeping requests. Report any defects in guest rooms and public areas, including damaged fixtures or furniture, for correction by the appropriate department. Other duties as assigned. As a Turndown Attendant you will work evening shifts. Qualifications Possess 1-2 years of experience in the Housekeeping department of a luxury hotel or residential property. Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English. Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift. Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
