Physical Therapist Float - Outpatient

Location: 6301 Forest Hills Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM Compensation: Minimum $37.29 per hour – Maximum $56.92 per hour. Sign‑on and relocation bonuses available for qualified candidates. Float Physical Therapists receive an additional $2.00 per hour differential in recognition of the flexibility and adaptability required for this role. Job Overview This position is designated as a Float Physical Therapist supporting multiple outpatient locations based on operational needs. The role involves treating patients of all ages and abilities, working alongside physical therapy assistants, and participating in a collaborative, patient‑focused outpatient rehabilitation team. Responsibilities Rotate between clinic locations: Kaseman, Albuquerque Healthplex, Albuquerque Southern, Rio Rancho Las Estancias, and South Valley. Evaluate patients, develop plans and goals, and implement treatment programs to improve physical or developmental dysfunction and promote independence in activities of daily living. Continuously reassess treatment plans and goals. Educate and instruct patients, families, and others regarding home programs and preventive measures. Prepare timely written documentation required by the profession and the department. Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care. Maintain departmental policies and procedures, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participate in educational programs, in‑services, meetings, special project teams, and other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. License to practice Physical Therapy in New Mexico required. BLS certification required at time of hire. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
