Claims Manager

Claims Manager is a full-time position responsible for coordinating and managing investigations of potential claims, evaluating liability exposure, and supporting litigation processes within the risk management department. Key Responsibilities Analyze and disseminate loss runs and monthly reports while communicating with excess carriers Support in-house counsel on various claims and participate in the Claims Committee Maintain accurate records of incidents and claims, and respond to discovery requests in litigated claims Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum of three years of related experience in Insurance/Claims management Experience in healthcare claim administration preferred Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding claims Ability to utilize management tools and foster claims standardization
