Laack Cheese is seeking a Production Associate to join our cutting and packaging team. This role is textbook for applicants looking to work in a fast paced, team-friendly environment. Our production team takes great pride in their work and appreciates seeing their final product on the shelves at the local grocery store!

A Production Associate ensures efficient, high-quality manufacturing throughout the packaging process by following the job responsibilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities:

• Packaging/Bagging a wide assortment of cheeses
• Operating a vacuum sealing machine
• Labeling/Boxing finished products
• Using packing tools such as food scales, tape guns, date labelers, and box cutters
• Inspecting product for damage or defaults and reporting to supervisors as needed
• Keeping a clean and organized work space, along with end of shift clean up
• Advancement into utilizing cheese cutting machinery if desired

Job Skills:

• Detailed Oriented – A must to ensure final product meets company standards
• Dependable – Able to show up on time every day
• High-Energy – Having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical Stamina – Able to stand for long periods and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Perceptive – Able to read and identify different labels/packaging supplies

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 07:00am - 04:30pm (Occasional Thursdays)
