The role contributes to business growth, customer experience, and profitability through analysis, product management, pricing optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and effective execution of strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Management & Lifecycle SupportSupports the development and execution of product strategies aligned to business objectivesDevelops recommendations for product pricing strategies and supports the identification, business case development, approval, and implementation of annual pricing changes and fee optimization opportunities.Supports delivery of strategic product initiatives and change programsPerformance Management & Business AnalysisMonitors product performance against business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)Evaluates pricing performance, customer impact, market competitiveness, and financial outcomes to identify and recommend pricing enhancementsAnalyzes financial, customer, and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesSupports forecasting, business planning, and performance reporting activitiesCustomer, Market & Competitive InsightsConducts market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoringAnalyzes customer behaviour, feedback, and channel performance to identify opportunities for improvementDevelops insights and recommendations to enhance product value propositions and customer experienceSupports evaluation of emerging market trends and competitor activityData, Analytics & ReportingDefines and documents business requirements for analytics and reporting needsPartners with analytics teams to develop reporting, dashboards, and performance insightsMonitors product and portfolio performance trends and highlights key findingsPrepares regular reporting and presentations for leadership and stakeholder groupsRisk, Compliance & GovernanceSupports compliance with legal, regulatory, and risk management requirementsIdentifies and escalates product risks, issues, and control gapsAssists in maintaining product documentation, policies, procedures, and governance requirementsParticipates in audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments as requiredStakeholder & Partner ManagementPartners with Finance, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Distribution teams to develop, obtain approval for, and implement pricing changes while ensuring positive customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.Provides subject matter expertise on product features, performance, and customer impactsSupports management of external partners and vendors, where applicableProject & Initiative DeliverySupports product development, enhancement, and optimization initiativesCoordinates activities across stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of business outcomesTracks initiative progress, dependencies, risks, and key decisionsSupports change management, implementation, and post-launch monitoring activitiesQualifications4-7 years of relevant experience in product management, product analytics, strategy, marketing, or financial servicesPost-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience interpreting data and translating insights into actionable recommendationsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of banking products and consumer banking industry trends is an assetData-driven mindset with strong attention to detailExperience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authoritySalary:$70,000.00 - $150,000.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
