Reviewing the patient chart by becoming familiar with orders including lab orders and results, radiology orders and results, H & P’s and updates, consents. Explaining procedures/treatment/discharge to patient and family members to alleviate apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure/discharge. Documenting patient assessment in the electronic patient record, and nursing care plan. Administering prescribed medications. Preparing Pre‑OP/PACU – I and II for needed supplies and equipment. Maintaining awareness of patient’s safety needs at all times. Assisting with patient’s transfer of care from the OR. Requirements Basic Life Support Registered Nurse Advanced Cardiac Life Support Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Compensation $37.00 - $42.55 per hour, depending on education and experience. Bonus: $10,000 for RN's with 2 or more years of experience.
