Job DetailsJob Location: Queensbury, NY 12804Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 SalaryHR Assistant Job Summary The HR/Payroll Assistant at DELLA Auto Group is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry, located in Queensbury, New York. Compensation & Benefits As an integral team member of DELLA Auto Group, the HR/Payroll Assistant is eligible to receive competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. health insurance retirement plans paid time off Responsibilities Oversee and maintain employee records, including new hire paperwork and personnel files Process employee payroll Assist with employee benefits enrollment and changes Respond to employee inquiries and provide support for HR/Payroll related issues Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employment practices Support HR Manager with special projects as needed QualificationsRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or HR certification preferred 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in the auto industry is a plus EEOC Statement DELLA Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
