Senior Trade Settlements & Operations Specialist

We're partnering with a growing financial services firm seeking an experienced operations professional to join its institutional trading operations team. This position will play a key role in supporting the post-trade lifecycle, with responsibilities spanning trade settlements, reconciliation, exception management, and operational risk oversight. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting institutional trading activity and working closely with counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate settlement processing. Key Responsibilities Manage trade settlement activities across institutional accounts Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, fails, unmatched trades, and reconciliation breaks Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and counterparties to facilitate timely settlement Support trade allocations, affirmations, and post-trade processing workflows Monitor daily cash and securities movements and assist with operational reporting Partner with internal teams on process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational controls Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance‑related requests as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in trade operations, settlements, or clearing Strong understanding of institutional trade processing and post‑trade workflows Experience managing trade breaks, settlement issues, and operational risk Knowledge of DTCC, DTC, NSCC, and institutional custody processes Broker‑dealer, clearing firm, asset manager, or prime brokerage experience preferred Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Preferred Experience Institutional equity settlements DVP/RVP processing Omgeo CTM and/or ALERT Broadridge platforms If you have a background in institutional operations, settlements, or trade support and are interested in learning more, please reach out directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr Phyton Talent Advisors
