Investigator - Network Services Location: Long Island, NY and surrounding area Immediate need for an undercover investigator within a worldwide investigative solutions company. Responsibilities Conduct undercover investigations in all demographic areas to gather information and intelligence. Establish covert identities and maintain a low profile and confidentiality throughout investigations. Collect, preserve, and document physical evidence to maintain the chain of custody. Catalog evidence efficiently across multiple online computer systems. Maintain accurate records of evidence transactions and prepare detailed investigative reports. Summarize findings and present them clearly and concisely. Troubleshoot and resolve computer‑related issues during evidence processing. Coordinate with law‑enforcement agencies, legal teams, colleagues, or supervisors as required. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with investigative techniques and technology. Manage a high caseload while being flexible to evolving investigative needs. Handle unexpected situations and challenges professionally. Requirements Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Private Investigator in NY and surrounding states. Successful completion of the comprehensive entrance exam and background check. Willingness to travel weekly and stay in hotels periodically. Ability to respond quickly to urgent business needs and last‑minute travel opportunities. Exceptional time‑management skills to maximize productivity during travel. Ability to maintain accurate travel documents, expenses, and receipts. Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for representing the company professionally. Valid state‑issued driver’s license issued by state of residency. Reliable, fuel‑efficient vehicle with minimum auto liability insurance. Willingness to possess or purchase a laptop computer. Educational/Experience Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field. Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.
