Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an insurance defense attorney for its Litigation Practice Group in Southfield, MI. This role offers a hybrid work policy following training. Duties Manage legal files effectively. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence. Conduct discovery, including depositions and interrogatories. Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations. Communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Requirements 3+ years of litigation experience. Experience in drafting pleadings and motion practice. Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in good standing. Education: JD from an accredited law school. Certifications: State Bar of Michigan admission. Skills Excellent persuasive writing and legal research skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Professional judgment and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Proactive and resourceful work ethic.
