Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantPRN Home Health and Therapy is a family-owned company, based out of Appleton and serving 20 counties in central east WI. We offer Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. We believe flexibility is important to the success of our employees.Position Summary: The COTA will work under the supervision of the occupational therapist to deliver patient-centered therapy services in a home health setting. This role involves implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.Key Responsibilities:Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).Provide hands-on therapy to patients in their homes to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence.Document patient visits, progress, and outcomes accurately and promptly in accordance with regulatory standards.Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to enhance recovery and maintain functional abilities.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.Qualifications:Current Wisconsin licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).Minimum of 1 year of experience as a COTA, preferably in a home health setting (new graduates with strong clinical experience will be considered).Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.What We Offer:Flexible scheduling optionsCompetitive compensation and mileage reimbursement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
