About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the alternative investments industry, with a focus on private equity. The CFO will be a strategic partner, overseeing all non-investment related financial activities, including accounting and tax compliance for the firm's active funds, GP entities, and management company. Key responsibilities for the CFO include managing relationships with outsourced service providers, overseeing day-to-day accounting, and managing the process for the completion and distribution of Limited Partner communications. The role also involves treasury functions, regulatory compliance, and special projects as requested. Candidates for the CFO position should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with an MBA being a plus and a CPA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of senior-level finance and accounting experience, particularly in a private equity environment, is required. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fund accounting, corporate finance, GAAP, and regulatory compliance, and experience in mentoring junior team members. Key personal attributes include excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as impeccable integrity, executive presence, and a driven, results-oriented approach. The CFO will be expected to be an entrepreneurial problem solver, work with a sense of urgency, and build healthy relationships with peers and partners.
