Occupational Therapist (OT)Join the Flywheel Centers team as an Occupational Therapist (OT). Actively lead the process of evaluating individual patient needs to design customized treatment strategies that maximize their capacity to carry out everyday tasks. As an OT, you will collaborate with clients, their families, and the Flywheel team to guide, empower, and create meaningful changes for the children we serve! This an excellent role for someone looking for a few extra hours a week as supplemental income. It does have the potential to grow into a full time role.Position Details:Title: OTLocation: Center-BasedSchedule: Part time, flexible scheduling based on client availabilityPrerequisites:Master of Occupational Therapy (Required)State License (Required)Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience working with children on the autistic spectrum.Responsibilities:Evaluate a patient’s needs, medical history, and ability.Develop tailored treatment plans to help patients meet their goalFollow patient progress and modify treatment plan as neededSuggest tools to help patients engage in activities safelyTrain patients on how to use customized equipment and perform daily tasksCollaborate with families and professionals to ensure treatment plans are effective and client centered.Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.Attend meetings and provide reports as neededJoin Flywheel Centers:Our diverse team consists of a select group of amazing individuals who focus on helping children thrive!
