Employee Benefits Specialist

The Employee Benefits Specialist will provide administrative support for employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave management. This role assists employees with benefits-related inquiries, maintains accurate records, coordinates enrollments, and supports compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to advance to a Benefits Manager position, with strong performance! Responsibilities: Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process benefits-related paperwork and maintain employee records. Respond to employee questions regarding health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and other benefit programs. Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications. Assist with short-term disability and workers' compensation documentation. Communicate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators regarding employee benefits issues. Audit benefits records and invoices to ensure accuracy. Prepare reports related to benefits, participation, and costs. Support the Payroll and HR department with special projects and benefits initiatives. Experience 3-5 years of administrative, HR, or benefits experience preferred.
