As Assistant Manager I, you will be a core member of the leadership team, driving success through people, performance, and brand integrity. General Function The Assistant Manager I partners with the Store/Multi‑Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including selling, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence. Responsibilities Utilize all company tools to deliver on the sales plan, develop associates, and achieve corporate objectives. Use reporting tools and business acumen to identify gaps, capitalize on successes, and drive continuous improvement. Provide ongoing coaching to associates, fostering growth and a motivating work environment. Acquire talent through networking, recruiting, and interviewing, in partnership with the Store/Multi‑Store Manager. Pursue opportunities for self‑development as defined in an individual development plan. Spend the majority of time on the sales floor, engaging with customers and driving sales. Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing all company tools. Consistently execute brand standards and store merchandising guidelines. Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, using learning tools for fashion and performance eyewear. Ensure execution of operational policies, procedures, and clear communication of brand strategy, promotions, contests, and incentives. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ year(s) of retail experience. Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operation. Detail‑oriented and uses critical thinking for operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or retail experience. Previous leadership experience of 1+ year(s). Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $26.31 per hour. Compensation may include a bonus and/or commission plan, along with a comprehensive benefits package that may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
