Shipping & Receiving Attendant

Bestway Ag is looking for our next Shipping and Receiving Attendant. This role will assist in managing the efficient flow of material in and out of the location. This role helps ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately received, inspected, documented, and processed in accordance with company procedures. Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks, trailers, UPS, etc.; checks against suppliers’ count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers and purchasing per company policy. Records Vendor Packing lists electronically for future reference. Ensures all items received are physically placed in their correct bin location and recorded. Assists with shipping and receiving transfer orders between Bestway locations. Process’s warehouse picks and packing for small package and large skidded shipments. Package and ship via UPS, FedEx, LTL and other carries utilizing shipping software. Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage. Transports materials on shipping dock with forklifts and\or a hand truck as needed. Loads trucks using a forklift. Perform other clerical duties as necessary.
