Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Step-Down Unit
Contract 13 Weeks Multiple Openings
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Step-Down Unit assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for patients requiring step-down or critical care-level monitoring and treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients meeting Medical Step-Down level of care.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care or Step-Down experience .
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
- BSN degree or professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
- 2+ years of Critical Care or Step-Down experience.
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Shifts Available:
- Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Holiday and weekend rotation required.
- No call required.
- Overtime paid at regular all-inclusive rate.
- EMR: EPIC
- Open Positions: 15

- BLS/BCLS
- Active state RN license required prior to start.
- Holiday coverage required.
