S. Clyde Weaver is looking for an experienced, hands-on  Retail Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our Lititz Pike retail store location in Lancaster, PA.

This is a working management position for someone who enjoys being on the sales floor, interacting with customers, leading a team, and making sure the store looks great and operates efficiently. The Store Manager will be responsible for sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory, café operations, cleanliness, safety, and overall team performance.

The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic leader who takes ownership, enjoys working with people, and understands that great customer service and strong store execution go hand in hand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Be a hands-on leader who works alongside the team during busy periods and supports daily store needs.
• Create a welcoming, friendly customer experience and lead the team by example.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while holding the team accountable to company standards.
• Ensure the store is properly stocked, organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Follow company merchandising, product placement, promotional, and display standards.
• Monitor sales, inventory, labor, waste, and other store expenses and take action when needed.
• Manage employee schedules and staffing based on business needs.
• Oversee inventory replenishment, product rotation, receiving, and proper product handling.
• Ensure café and prepared food operations meet S. Clyde Weaver quality and food-safety standards.
• Help resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and inspection-ready store.
• Communicate effectively with company leadership regarding store performance, employees, customers, products, and opportunities for improvement.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of retail, specialty food, grocery, café, hospitality, or related experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of merchandising and presentation.
• Ability to understand sales, labor, inventory, and store expenses.
• Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Willingness to learn and develop strong product knowledge.
• Food safety certification such as ServSafe is required. (If you do not have ServSafe certification, must be able to obtain within six months. Company will reimburse costs.)
• Ability to use or learn POS, scheduling, inventory, and other store systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, stock, clean, and perform the physical requirements of an active retail environment including stand for entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
