Compliance Manager - Customs

Ensure Customs compliance at a national level Work closely with local Customs Managers to ensure adherence to Customs regulatory requirements and internal policies Conduct research, management, tracking, and reporting on Customs transactions to maintain a complete audit trail Manage the DSV Customs Compliance initiative Manage DSV Customs Brokerage Operations at a national level Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program aligned with Customs regulations and DSV A/S, Inc. policies Monitor and assess compliance risks and identify areas for improvement Conduct regular audits and reviews Provide guidance and training to employees on Customs compliance matters Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance strategies Investigate and address compliance-related incidents, violations, and complaints Monitor regulatory and legislative changes Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies Lead and support internal compliance investigations and audits Develop and maintain compliance documentation and records Requirements Bachelor’s degree with preference in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business, or equivalent US Customs Broker License Experience with audit processes and procedures Working knowledge of USHTS, 19 CFR, and ACE portal Experience developing and implementing Customs compliance programs and policies Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Customs compliance management Ability to learn and utilize software information systems Strong knowledge of Customs compliance frameworks and best practices Proficiency in data analysis and reporting Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques Strong leadership and project management skills Experience with ACE Secure Data Portal Fluent in English (oral and written) Proficient in compliance management software and tools Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools Ability to adapt to new technology platforms used in compliance management Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Customs compliance management, including the development and implementation of compliance programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
