Overview

Our organization is currently in search of a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of a distinguished Women's Health Care Center located in Dallas, TX. Position Highlights

• Become a member of a well-established practice that has been serving women in the Dallas Metro area for over 15 years.
• Work alongside one physician and a supportive staff dedicated to patient care.
• This role primarily involves clinic duties, with no requirements for on-call hours, nights, or weekends.
• The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with patients and the physician, assisting in office management during the physician's absences for deliveries, surgeries, or vacations.
• Responsibilities include seeing primarily gynecology patients, completing documentation, returning calls regarding lab results, answering patient inquiries, providing education, electronically or telephonically sending prescriptions, and administering medications.
• Manage a patient load of up to 20 individuals per day.
• Perform and assist with various minimally invasive procedures in the office, such as pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and IUD placements.
• Support the physician in scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at the Medical City-Dallas Hospital.

Requirements

• National Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
• WHNP Certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of one year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is strongly preferred.
• Must possess an unrestricted, active license in the state or be able to obtain one.
• Current unrestricted DEA License or the ability to acquire one.
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or the ability to obtain these certifications.
• Skilled in assessment and the development of treatment plans.
• Effective communication skills with patients, team members, and management.
• Capable of making care decisions based on best medical practices independently.
